This dress was perfect for my simple, elegant beach wedding at home in the Virgin Islands! It's a silky, structured, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, and a full tulle lace, beaded, boatneck overlay.
It was by far the most slimming dress I tried on (most peoples' first comment when seeing me in the dress). The lace back, white (rather than off-white/ivory) color, and simple elegance were just perfect for the setting. The tulle on the bottom flares out when dancing or in the wind, which was so beautiful and airy. I love this dress!
But I don't want to save a dress I'll never wear again, and love the idea that someone else can wear my wonderful dress.

The dress did suffer some wear and tear. A stray nail at my beach venue slightly snagged the tulle at the bottom. This created three tiny holes in the tulle in the rear hem of the dress (two are less than two inches from the bottom of the hem, the third is very small and is 5.5 inches from the bottom of the hem. Depending on your height, you may cut the tulle right off above these snags). These small holes are not at all noticeable when wearing the dress because of the way the tulle is layered. It would also be easy to get fixed by a tailor, though, because the hem includes many triangular tulle panels for this beautiful flaring effect, and the snag is only on these easily-replacable panels. Some beads also came loose during dry cleaning (pictured)--mostly just under the armpits where they won't be visible. Extra beads provided by BHLDN will be included. I considered asking my tailor to fix these minor issues, but expect that the next loving owner of my dress may be having these areas altered anyways, so I'm selling the dress at a lower price instead. There are also some frayed threads at the hem, very hidden by the tulle overlay. All wear and tear that I'm aware of is pictured.
The jeweled belt is not included, but I'd be willing to part with it for $120 (originally $180). The dress comes with a simple white silk belt (included).
