I had two alterations made: 1) I removed the train because it was heavy and I wanted it to be easy to move around for an outdoor wedding. 2) The dress had one layer of stiff tulle (I'm not sure of the technical name) under all of the light layers that caused the skirt to hold it's poofy shape more firmly than I expected from the BHLDN website photos. I felt the volume of poof was overwhelming on a petite frame so that stiff layer was removed. Without it, the remaining light layers of tulle are soft and dreamy and you can see the lovely ivory underskirt through them. This is a very comfortable wedding dress. Grey ribbon for a belt included but I'd suggest swapping it out for a color that matches your wedding.
