From the Carolina Herrera 2018 Spring Collection, this dress was so special to me because of its unique fabric and lace pattern, I spotted it right away and decided that was the style I had been looking for.
I wanted to move away from the traditional tulle or lace, and this fabric was it. It is a very elegant, intricate, and bold and thick rose pattern lace. The color is an off-white, more towards an ivory. When I tried on the dress,with a simple and flowy A-line, that falls naturally and outlines the body contours, I decided: "This is it!"
The relaxed, boho chic off-the shoulder style is also lovely, but my mind was set on one single style: Pipa Midleton's bridal dress with the high neck top, and the seller promised she would make my dream dress come true, and she did!
I wore my dress in three different styles on the night of my wedding and will include the off-shoulder sleeves and detachable high-neck top, as well as the black belt it came with:
- First, the high neck top (detachable) that was designed specially for me,
- Then I changed to the off-the shoulder boho chic style.
- Lastly, I wore it strapless which was a beautiful look too because I modified the straight back to be a U shape.
