This was my absolute dream dress From Carolina Herrera's Fall 2012 collection and re-released in the Fall 2013 collection. This dress exceptionally incorporates several elements - a hint of vintage in the lace overlay on the bodice and a slimming, elegant cut for a modern touch. The many finer details like the stitching and the curve of the neckline and beautiful pleats gliding into the train complete the overall look that is perfectly balanced and elegant. The dress is composed of Carolina Herrera's signature silk Mikado and Chantilly lace over the bodice. The dress has an amazingly flattering fit and would fit a 4 or 6 street size. The neckline of the dress has been slightly altered to create a SWEETHEARTS cut and COMPLEMENTS the existing design. From a review by editor Juli Alvarez on Carolina Herrera's Fall 2012 preview: "One of the most cleverly designed dresses presented was the Heather gown worn with the Heather blouse. The strapless silk Mikado trumpet gown with carved neckline and Chantilly lace applique is modern with a touch of romance. When worn with its accompanying blouse, which sits easily underneath the gown, the dress ingeniously morphs into something else altogether. The skillfully cut Chantilly lace blouse turns a quiet dress into a statement dress. If you’re a bride who likes things on the simpler side but don’t want to compromise your femininity then this might be the dress for you." Can still be seen in the designer's Fall 2013 Lookbook (fourth image from left, top row):
