The Virginia Woolf gown is the designers favorite in the spring 2011 collection and is inspired by other literary favorites as Jane Austen and Emily Dickinson. I found it in New York city and absolutely fell in love with fit and style of the gown. I wore it at our October 10, 2015 wedding by the ocean in Newport, RI. Gown is made of beautiful fabrics including silk chiffon, silk mikado, chantilly lace, duchess satin with amazing detail around the neckline and Ruffles throughout the whole dress. Gown was worn with no bra or built in padding, very fitted and was not necessary. The length was altered for a height of 5'6 with heels. 3 hidden clasps allow the dress to be bustled. All the satin buttons are intact and there are no rips or tears anywhere on the gown. A new zipper was put in after the dress was purchased. No other alterations were down to the gown.
