A sweetheart ballgown with floral-inspired embroidery with a lot of sparkles. It has a moderately long train with a french bustle style that was a little tricky for my bridesmaids to figure out, but it worked out in the end.
I loved that it wasn't pure white, there are some off-white accents and while I never imagined wearing a strapless wedding dress, the fit was perfect and I wasn't pulling on it at all. It does weigh a bit and it was a relief after 5 hours to take it off, there is a lot of fabric poofing it out.
From the designer: Soft sweetheart, “Baby Doll” silhouette with beadwork and embroidery sewed onto netting with a Duchess Silk pleated sash. 2013 Fresh Expressions Collection.
I was measured for the dress and it was made to my measurements. I am 5'3" and wore a 3" heel with the dress. It is a wedding dress size 6, street size 4. My bust size at the time was a 34C. There is light boning and an extra band added below the bust for support on the inside. It's possible to wear the dress without a bra. Since it was made to my measurements, only slight alterations were made to the body for a more perfect fit.
I had a blue heart sewn into the inside of the bust as my "something blue" and it's a piece of my dad's shirt. It's something that could be picked out since it's only sewn lightly.
Worn for an outdoor wedding, the hem of the underskirt and about 1/4" of the front of the skirt have some soiling.
The INCLUDED veil wasn't made for the dress but matches the embroidery perfectly.
