The satin bodice is completely covered in pearls and crystals in intricate patters. The empire waist is ruched tulle and additional pearl and crystal beading. The standard skirt that accompanies this style is a ruched tulle, but I special ordered straight tulle. It does have a short train. I also had a French style bustle added. The gown can be worn either strapless or with the special ordered crystal and pearl matching thick straps. The back zips up but has some crystals that look like really pretty buttons. I typically wear a size 22 and am 5'9 but wore the gown with flats.
