A seamstress should have no problem removing the addition should you choose to have the deep V back. This dress was purchased brand new August 2018 at The Bridal Boutique in Honolulu at a size 16. I am 4'11", the dress can accommodate someone of 5'-5'2 depending on the height of the heels. I wore this dress with a 4.5" heel so alterations to the length were not necessary. After wearing this dress once, for my wedding, I had it professionally dry cleaned and preserved. It is a beautiful and elegant dress that would make any woman feel like a queen. I spent $1700 on the dress and $400 on alterations totaling $2100.00 and am asking $975, this is $1125 discount. The purchase includes the veil you see in the pictures.
