This dress is perfection, and incredibly comfortable. It is still listed on the BHLDN website as in season at $1,500. I wore the dress for 4 hours and had very little alterations done. No shortening has been done at all. The alterations consist of breast cups added to help me and my imperfect breasts (these can easily be removed without tearing the dress). I also had some horse hair thread added to the pleats in the front to help them from buckling and to stay straight + pressed. This does not decrease sizing, or increase sizing on the dress. THAT IS ALL FOR ALTERATIONS! The dress size is a size 10. Sizing measurements for size 10, straight from BHLDN's website are: size 10 BUST 38.4" NATURAL WAIST 31.9" HIP 45.3" LENGTH FROM TOP OF SHOULDER TO HEM (FRONT) 54" LENGTH FROM CENTER BACK TO HEM (INCLUDING TRAIN) 70".
