The layers are super soft and the dress is insanely comfortable. This dress is really unique and beautiful. When I purchased the dress, I had the back zipper replaced and then I had the length of the dress altered for my height. I was planning to wear flats, so the length would need to be perfect for you.... or, if you're shorter than me, you can always have it altered more, or wearing heals will work for you depending on your height. I'm 5'7" The dress was also professionally cleaned after the alterations were finished. Like I said, I ended up wearing a different dress for my wedding, so this one was only tried on... never worn. The dress has a few very minor imperfections. When I tried it on after the zipper was replace, there was a tiny bit of the fabric that got caught in the zipper. I'm including photos here. When it's zipped, it's really not noticeable. But this could easily be fixed. There are also two spots where there are 1 or 2 tiny beads missing. One spot is on the back of the dress, near the zipper. Just one bead missing there. Then, the other spot is on the front of the dress and there are two beads missing. You could easily remove two beads from the very back (in a symmetrical way) and put them on the front -- otherwise, it's not something you would notice unless you look very closely. Feel free to get in touch with any questions you might have. This Catherine Deane wedding dress is brand new. It was a sample in a bridal shop. The dress was originally $2,270.00. I was originally planning on wearing it for my wedding then changed my mind at the last minute and went with a different dress. The color of the dress is labeled as OYSTER (between white and ivory). The bride is 145 pounds.
