This dress is covered with an intricate lace and pearl design. It is a beautiful blush color underneath. It was specially made in Europe and I received many comments that it looked like an antique. It feels very light and was super easy to walk and dance around in. I loved that it looked old-fashioned and fit snugly on the top, but flowed at the bottom.
The train is short (court length) but splays out in a graceful circle behind your feet. The back is a V but is also slightly sheer. When I bought it, it did not have the tulle overlayer that the Chic Nostalgia website shows.
The alterations I got were to fit me better (I am 5'7" and wore flat shoes, so only a couple of inches were taken off at most from a size 8), as well as added bustle buttons; there is one snap button on the underside of the dress and 5 clear buttons to bustle the dress.
The best part was that I felt like a princess on my wedding day in this dress (and everyone at the wedding agreed that I looked the part!), and I am excited that you get to experience this too!
