Trumpet-Mermaid Court Train Tulle Wedding Dress
This is a gorgeous, well-made CocoMelody dress. The only reason I'm selling it is that I ordered the wrong size, and it was too snug in the midsection to zip up. I thought about getting it altered, but then didn't want to go through the trouble if the dress needed some major revisions to fit me. I'm normally about a size 8-10; and size 14 in CocoMelody was just too small because I should've gone a little bigger according to their waist guidelines.
The dress is cut like a strapless fit, because you can remove the sweet straps and beautiful lace back, if you want two different looks! They are secured with many nicely sewn interior buttons (you'll need help buttoning/unbuttoning, just FYI).
The color is ivory with a champagne lining and feels very substantial throughout. There are bust cups so that you don't have to wear a bra. The tulle train is very pretty with lace dispersed here and there, and it elegantly swishes across the floor (I also put down a clean sheet when trying on to make sure nothing got on the train!).
I love this dress for curvy body types because of the asymmetrical ruching. It's very flattering and hides not-quite-flat tummies. Also, I would've had to get the bust altered because I'm small-chested, but it might not need bust alterations for someone more proportionate.
There are darling floral appliques with small pearls and sparkles. It's a very unique dress that feels vintage-inspired and also perfect for the modern bride.
Also, I would suggest you have a bustle added--because it's long and you don't want to trip at the reception! Thanks for considering this dress. It's brand new with tags, only tried on twice.
