This is a Christiana Couture gown made by London designer Christiana Marty, who was voted British Bridal Designer of the Year in her heyday. This vintage custom one-off gown is called Saskia. It’s a sheath, full length gown with a train that bustles. The bodice has an asymmetrical ruching design that gathers into a silk ribbon on one side. Simple iridescent beading details the trim around the scoop/asymmetric front neckline and straps as well as the trim of the low cut partially exposed back. The material is 100% silk, and is dry clean only.
The dress size is a 2, and the length was hemmed for a petite bride standing 5’3 in heels weighing 100 lbs with a 34” B bust, and a 27” waist. This dress is in very good shape, and has been professionally cleaned, but still has a few blemishes. There is slight discoloration on the bust area, and at the end of the train, as well as a few small spots around the hip area but are not very noticeable. The price of the gown was originally $3000 and was made in London.
