It is a dream to wear. The tiny, functional buttons along the back provide a layer of traditional elegance while the three dimensional lace provides modernity. It is very light-weight and breathable and easy enough to put on, take off and lift up without the help of others. The only exception to the no-help-needed rule is the buttons.
I wore the dress for approximately 12 hours on a moderately warm day. There are no visible stains on the dress from food, drink, dirt or sweat. I did cover my chest with a light-weight makeup foundation, some of which is apparent on the fine mesh straps of the dress. The slight evidence of the foundation should not be visible when worn. The very bottom of the dress is not as perfectly clean as at first, but whether you wear it inside or outside, you would accumulate the same small amount of dust as I did within the first 10 minutes of wearing it.
