I loved this dress and felt beautiful in it. I hope someone else can as well :)
This dress was worn once in 12/2017. It is a size 10, but I am generally a 6 in dresses/street clothes. You may reference size guidelines by searching "BHLDN Elisha Gown" using Google. I recommended checking out their website for other opinions and to see the manufacturer photos. In my opinion, the most important measurement is the natural waist then bust, because the material has less give. Otherwise, the lower portion of the dress has some stretch and can accomodate more curves. My measurements at the time of wearing dress were a 34" bust, 27.5" natural waist, and 39" hips. Per website, this dress is made for 36" bust, 28" natural waist, and 40" hips. A size 8 would have fit better, but I purchased a 10 because it was all that was available. I did not have it taken in because the cup area had structure (which gave me some extra umph) and the dress lays so beautifully. The extra room in waist area allowed for me to have the crinoline slip without noticeable lines.
I wore a crinoline slip under the dress, which I feel really helped overall shape and movement. I would be happy to include in purchase. It is a size small/medium and fit more on this loose side for me. It was about $30.
Damage: The top button of back has worn elastic and will need to be relooped. It arrived this way and I did not pay to make repairs. There is also a small hole at the bottom of the train where thread had attached underskirts to lace. I have extra lace and will include it. However, if you will not exceed 6'00" in the dress this portion would likely be cut out. It is also not noticeable to anyone not scrutinizing dress. The portion of lace that would be moved for alternations is all intact, which is the important part.I have included picture.
Sale price of dress was $1200. I paid $400 for alterations in this dress, including the bustle. The crinoline slip was another $30.
